How I'm wrapping up my "journey" ... (Day 29)

I've made some adjustments to my "journey" allowing for the fact that my parents are coming to visit us the coming Saturday to celebrate my ordination on 5/4. Eating is a very important part for family gathering, esp for parents visiting from overseas. The joy and satisfaction from chatting on the dining table with those closest to your heart (except God) cannot be described in words. I believe they should be of a high priority this time.

On the other hand, I was struggling a bit to find out what God really wants of me - to persist till the end or what?! As I realized some 2 weeks ago, for extended fast, there needs to be at least 7 days transition for back-to-normal diet, I reckon the best way to end it is by "kicking" in the transition mode after 30 days. Ideally it takes me another 10 days to get back to the normal diet.

Ultimately, fasting is about the state and desire of the heart. That's what matters most before God. To me, that still makes up 40 days in total but with different types of fasting. That means I will start missing my fruit and vegie juices which have been vital in giving me adequate energy througout the last few weeks.
