以往一直對於沖唔慣凍水涼，而有一種很“水皮”的感覺，身為男孩子點解唔能夠沖凍水涼？踏進泰國清萊的Indochina Bible Training Center後，發覺差不多整個校園都有WiFi的coverage，但偏偏無熱水沖涼.... 有點懊惱！事實上，馬死落地行，結果我要學習沖凍水涼，就好似要習慣每日3餐都要食飯，而且差唔多一定要食辣的餸。頭一兩日沖凍水真係唔慣，但係沖到第三四日，開始覺得幾得意。當然，每次沖涼開水嗰一刻都會覺得有啲凍，但一陣間就可習慣了。諗深一層，沖凍水涼係可以克服的，只要是多沖，甚至到一個地步係經常沖的話，你就唔會覺得困難㗎喇。其實lee樣係文化衝擊之一，當宣教士踏進一個新的文化當中，其實有好多嘢需要適應，包括食物(如味道，種類)，生活細節(如沖凍水涼，身體24小時在出汗)，交通，語言，風俗等等。再諗起耶穌基督自己“卑微”，“成為人的樣式”，

今天跟爸爸在一起，真的不容易... 不是因為沒有說話要說，也不是因為有甚麼面阻阻的事情，而是因為陪爸爸到醫院看化驗報告。在車上，我問他是否擔心，他回答：“當然擔心”，我再問他擔心甚麼（目的只是想從他口中聽到他心底所擔心的事情），他回答：“最怕那些最壞的事情”。我們最擔心化驗報告說爸爸患上癌症... 這也是爸爸最擔心的事情。此之前，我們一直為此禱告，求主介入，讓爸爸經歷主的保守，藉此讓他的心能被打開，接受耶穌。媽媽一有機會便與爸爸一起禱告，自己也在不同環境與爸爸一起禱告。就在即將得知報告之前，我跟爸爸一起看使徒行傳17:28，當中提及我們的生活，動作，存留都在乎上帝；及後我再為爸爸禱告，他便進去見醫生。結果，化驗的報告證實爸爸身體沒有大礙，只是過濾性病毒而已。聽後，我們真是放下心頭大石，心內感恩不盡！祈求上帝藉此預備爸爸的心，讓他能真“知道”祂！

有人不禁問﹕「你難得養肥了，這麼快又瘦了！」我帶笑地回答﹕「這樣，我才可以努力養肥嘛！」事實上，認識我了解我的人都清楚，我是愛好食物的人，要我禁食，其實唔易，兼且，在禁食禱告當中，我的家庭、太太、自己的身體遇上各樣的攔阻、軟弱和攪擾，有些階段，真是苦不坎言。這次，我和教會數十位弟兄姊妹一同學習以禁食禱告，來經歷主，為自己的靈命、婚姻、家庭、教會、社會，而至世界上的特別需要去禱告。相比起這段時期裡的少少困難，我深信我的靈命的確向前邁了一大步，感謝主！另外一方面，我在開始的時候期望類似「一步登天」式的個人靈命復興，在我靜下來反省一下這21天的學習，我卻發覺到每樣的關係（當然包括與神）是每天的增長、每刻的建立，不是說不可以邁進一大步，只不過是不能一天之內就成事，永遠甜蜜幸福。總而言之，這21天是寶貴的功課，也是難得的機會，可以與很多弟兄姊妹一同禱告。下一步的學習又是甚麼呢？你呢？

Last night, we had 19 people attending the Tuesday prayer meeting in East Perth. About half of the attendees attempted fasting last Friday (27/3). Some of them were encouraged to share their experiences. I was totally amazed at how they encountered God in prayer, and reading of His word as they fasted on that day. I even learned that relationship has been restored somehow when people fasted.

今天早上收到email，有關戴紹曾牧師離世的消息，及後，再在一些blog及基督教網業證實此消息。有一點哀傷，因為我的全時間事奉跟他也有關係，十多年前，他來過Perth，在聚會中，他呼召人全時間奉獻給主，我在當中回應了。另一方面，也為他的榜樣及事奉感恩，他就像一粒麥子落在地裡死了，深信他的見證及足跡會inspire更多後輩起來回應事奉主！

其實，打從這星期開始，自己內心覺得不妙，禁食前和禁食初期的火熱和對神的渴慕到現在好像減退了！我不是沒有繼續禱告，也不是沒有靈修 ... 但內心深處，我實在是 feel 到那份熱減退了不少。心中所想的多半是「禁食完結後會食乜食乜？」「還有多少日便完成禁食？」我甚至在想：「是否禁食到此為止？」當我昨天看書的時候，當中一位完成禁食者的分享正是我現今所面對的。不過，他有這樣的提醒，我們必須要儆醒，心態要正確，禁食是讓我們更謙卑，而不是說我們 achieve 了甚麼偉大的事工！在神面前，禁食幾餐有甚麼大不了？算得上甚麼偉大的功績？「主呀，請幫助我，叫我不要看見我有甚麼 achievement，乃要叫我看見你在我和教會當中偉大的 achievement！」

It's my greatest honour and privilege to serve the Lord. In the past (almost) 8 years in full-time ministry (and particularly the last 4 years), it has been a humbling experience for me to prepare myself for ordination. There have been difficult times, and very discouraging moments, but the Lord has sustained me and given me strength. He confirmed His calling to me for life-long service unto Him.

I was so touched (in tears) by God's love & acceptance for me today as I worshipped Him during the noon prayer time. "It might sound weak but makes you really strong" 為何我要鼓勵人去禁食禱告？因為禁食禱告的益處很多，不論對教會的復興，而至個人的靈命和家庭的關係，都有著震憾性的正面影響。從個人的角度，簡單來說，1. 在禁食禱告中，我們能更清楚聽到和覺察神的同在，這是千真萬確的事實，因為凡誠懇地參與禁食禱告的人都能這樣地作見證。在個人或群體的敬拜中，你整個人就像跟神面對面一樣，與他無比的親近，讚美的歌聲就等如直接達到神的耳中！2. 因著禁食這自我謙卑的行動，整個人對自己的心理和屬靈情況顯得尤其敏銳，我試過在犯錯後，差不多隨即便看到自己醜陋的一面，於是立即（向神）認罪，（向人）認錯。但在已往，很多時的我只會「死死地氣」或不忿地認錯。你也想有這樣的改變嗎？

Today we went out for a ministry retreat with the guys only. It was a good time with lots of prayer, worship, and encouragement from and for one another. We spent time "dreaming" about the men's group this year. It really seems that God has already "sparked" something among the younger men here in church. "Lord, take charge here, it's your Church!"

Someone once said that to prepare for God's revival, we need to do 2 things: (1) to confess and repent of sins; (2) to seek God's face. Today I read Daniel Ch. 9.
